KIEFFER Moore tasted relegation with Wales on Sunday evening, coming off the bench during the 1-0 defeat at the hands of Poland.
Cymru required victory over the Poles in order to preserve their Nations League A status, following one draw and four narrow losses in the five games leading up the decider.
Cherries’ Chris Mepham was suspended for the clash, with Moore dropping to the bench after scoring against Belgium in the previous game.
Frustrated by Poland’s gameplan of slowing the game down as much as possible, Wales came closest to opening scores in the first half when Daniel James burst past the last line of defence to bare down on goal.
However, the Fulham forward fired his effort straight at Wojciech Szczęsny in the Poland goal, spurning a glorious chance.
At the break, Cherries youth goalkeeper Ollie Camis, fresh off the back of recording a clean sheet in a 4-0 win over Cheltenham on Saturday, was awarded his caps following his debut for Cymru’s under-16s.
Karol Świderski grabbed the game’s only goal 12 minutes after the restarting, receiving Robert Lewandoski’s sublime pass before firing underneath Wayne Hennessey.
Wales’ next games will be at the World Cup, their time at the biggest stage in 64 years.
