POOLE Town have bolstered their defence ahead of their Southern League clash at home to Yate Town with the addition of Ade Olumuyiwa on loan from National South Farnborough.
Lagos-born Olumuyiwa, who once trialled with Cherries, goes straight into the side for this afternoon’s clash with Yate at the BlackGold Stadium (kick-off 3pm).
Since moving to the south coast to study at Solent University in Southampton, the centre-back has represented numerous sides across the footballing pyramid, featuring in the Weymouth side that earnt promotion to the National League.
A serious knee injury prevented him from making his mark in the fifth tier, seeing him drop down to the eighth to play for AFC Totton.
He joined National South Farnborough this summer, but has been unable to break into the first-team picture. He joins Poole on an initial month-long loan.
