FORMER Cherries boss Scott Parker has been named dropped in rapper Stormzy’s latest song ‘Mel made me do it’ – amongst a litany of footballing references.

Midway through the song, the Manchester United fan spits: “Gaffer like I’m Scott Parker / From when the mandem used to rock parka’s”.

Released at midnight, the music video is number one on YouTube’s trending page in the UK, racking up 822,000 views in the first 13 hours of it being uploaded.

With the 41-year-old departing the south coast club just under a month ago, it appears the song was written in advance of his sacking, meaning unlike Stormzy, Parker is no longer the gaffer.

Known for his attention to fashion, Parker has constantly been ribbed by members of the media for his designer clothes, including the three-stripped cardigan he donned at the start of the campaign.

The music video itself features another former Premier League manager, with current Roma boss Jose Mourinho making a cameo appearance, tying in with the line “I prefer not to speak like I'm José” before sampling the former Chelsea’s manager’s infamous response to a question regarding referees.

Latest Chelsea signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is also referenced in the lyrics, whilst the Croydon-born songwriter compares his skills to French starlet Kylian Mbappe by claiming “Man I got ‘tek’s (tekkers, slang for skills) like I’m Kylian”.

Jamaican sprinter and Olympic legend Usain Bolt appears in the video itself, alongside other celebrities Louis Theroux and Jonathan Ross.
