INTERIM boss Gary O’Neil believes Scotland international Ryan Christie has “loads of qualities that we’re definitely going to need this season”.
Former Celtic star Christie arrived on the south coast last summer, playing a key part in the Cherries side that earned promotion from the Championship last term.
So far this season, the 27-year-old has featured in some capacity in each of Cherries’ Premier League games.
In his first season in the English top-flight, O’Neil shared how he thought Christie had adapted to the Premier League.
He told the Daily Echo: “I think he's done well. I think he was a big part of the comeback at Nottingham Forest.
“I think he took up some lovely positions, always works his socks off. He has a lovely quality on his left foot.
“So, yeah, loads of qualities that we're definitely going to need this season.”
