CHERRIES will head to Norwich City in the Carabao Cup next Tuesday, it has been confirmed.
The two clubs have been paired at the second-round stage for the second season in succession.
Last year, Premier League Norwich humbled a young Championship Cherries outfit 6-0 at Carrow Road.
The sides have now swapped divisions and Scott Parker will be hoping for a tighter battle this time around.
It has now been confirmed the game will take place on Tuesday, August 23, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
Cherries have been allocated 974 tickets for the away section, which will be priced at £12 for adults, £6 for over-65s or under-21s and £2 for under-18s. They go on sale tomorrow at 2pm, directly from the club.
Discussing the draw, Parker said: "It brought back some memories of last season, to be honest with you in the sense of going there.
"It was a bad day for us really, we got comfortably beat.
"As always, a cup draw gives us opportunities in terms of squad. Another game at this point in the season is not a bad thing as well, to give game-time.
"As always, it's a competition that I respect. You're only a few games away from really getting to the nitty-gritty of it as well.
"A tough draw for us, of course. Norwich away is not an easy place to go. And that's sandwiched in between a trip to Anfield the following weekend, but it's a game we're looking forward to and we can maybe give an opportunity to some others as well."
