CHERRIES have confirmed that Guyana international Nathan Moriah-Welsh has joined League Two outfit Newport County on a season-long loan.

Moriah-Welsh received a first taste of the men's game last term, training with Scott Parker's first team in pre-season before playing in both of their FA Cup ties, featuring at right-back.
