CHERRIES have revealed a striking new home kit ahead of their Premier League return – a modern twist on the red and black stripes that harks back to ‘iconic kits from the early nineties.’

Scott Parker’s men will don the Umbro-designed kits during the 2022-23 campaign, with the zig-zag design of the stripes said to be ‘inspired by and reflective of the club’s architectural stadium pillars’.

It is also the first kit to feature new primary sponsors Dafabet, who have taken over front-of-shirt billing from Poole-based business MSP Capital.

A statement on Cherries’ website unveiling the new shirt read: “The bold new red and black striped kit is ready for the big moments as the club returns to the top-flight.

“Inspired by and reflective of the club’s architectural stadium pillars, the striking new home kit also gives a nod to the past in the style of the iconic kits from the early nineties.”

The kit can be pre-ordered via the club’s online superstore, with adult shirts priced at £55, whilst youth sizes will cost £45. Season ticket holders are able to claim a 10 per cent discount when purchasing the strip, either online or in-person at the club superstore.

Those that do not wish to have the sponsor on the front of the shirt can pre-order a version of the kit without the Dafabet logo for no extra cost.

The club have also stated that the shirts can be adapted for supporters with accessibility requirements, with Cherries encouraging supporters to either visit the superstore or email superstore@afcb.co.uk.
