LEIF Davis could be on the move again, with the full-back apparently being courted by Ipswich Town.
That is according to reports from the East Anglian Daily Times, who claim that the Tractor Boys are tracking the defender ahead of a potential move.
Leeds United defender Davis spent last term on loan at the Vitality Stadium, making just 15 appearances across all competitions in a season blighted by injury.
Cherries reportedly held the option to make the move permanent, but with the emergence of Jordan Zemura and Davis’ stop-start campaign, the club opted to allow the clause to expire, meaning that 22-year-old returned to parent club Leeds.
Whilst Davis has reported to pre-season training with the Yorkshire club with the view of possibly impressing head coach Jesse Marsch, his contract is set to expire in the summer of 2023, with Leeds reportedly open to another loan move – or even a permanent switch for the former Morecambe youngster.
As such, League One Ipswich are rumoured to be interested in signing the Newcastle-born left-back, who also played as a centre-back under Marcelo Bielsa whilst with Leeds.
Davis, a Championship winner with Leeds in 2020, can also be deployed higher up the pitch, with Scott Parker once utilising him as a right-winger for Cherries.
