CHERRIES are set to face Sheffield Wednesday and Braga in friendlies as part of their pre-season trip to Portugal this month.
Scott Parker’s side will take on League One Wednesday on Friday, July 15, before a clash with Primeira Liga Braga on Tuesday, July 19.
Darren Moore’s Owls finished fourth in the third tier last season, before losing out to Sunderland in the play-off semi-final.
Braga, managed by Artur Jorge, finished fourth in the Portuguese top flight, meaning they qualified for the Europa League group stage.
Both games are being played behind closed doors with no access to the public.
Parker’s side, who returned for pre-season a week ago, are set to jet out to Portugal on Monday, July 11, before returning on Wednesday, July 20.
They will then return to face Championship outfit Bristol City at Vitality Stadium on Saturday, July 23, before another home contest with Real Sociedad on Saturday July 30.
The club’s competitive schedule begins with a home clash against Aston Villa on Saturday, August 6.
