FORMER Cherries loanee Todd Cantwell was back involved for Norwich City in pre-season action, having headed back to his boyhood club from Dorset in the summer.
The Canaries youth graduate made 12 appearances for the Dorset club on loan after arriving at the end of the January window – helping them reach the Premier League.
Cherries, however decided not to make their move for Cantwell permanent after not taking up an option on the deal.
Instead, Cantwell started and played a hand in two Norwich City goals as they beat non-league Dereham Town 4-0 in a friendly.
Cantwell’s seventh-minute corner was nodded back across goal by Tyrese Omotoye, allowing Jordan Hugill to convert the opener from close range.
A precision pass from Cantwell then set Tony Springett in on goal. After he rounded the keeper, Hugill tapped home a second.
Cantwell was replaced at the break as Canaries boss Dean Smith made 11 changes, before his side head off to Germany to continue their pre-season.
