CHERRIES are at advanced stages of agreeing terms with full-back Ryan Fredericks, the Daily Echo understands.

The right-back has been a free agent since his contract at West Ham expired this summer.

Potters Bar-born Fredericks has played 76 times in all competitions for West Ham, since signing on a free from Fulham in July 2018.

His most recent competitive game came on May 1, when he played 90 minutes for David Moyes’s side in a 2-1 defeat to Arsenal at London Stadium.

Fredericks made 114 appearances for Fulham before linking up with the Hammers. During his time at Craven Cottage, he played alongside Cherries head coach Scott Parker.

Cherries have the likes of Adam Smith and Jack Stacey at right-back in their current squad, while Manchester United loanee Ethan Laird returned to his parent club at the end of last season.
