FORMER Cherries loanee Freddie Woodman is reportedly in talks to seal a move to Preston North End.
Football Insider claim the Deepdale side have made a move for the 25-year-old, with the Lilywhites reportedly working on a loan for next season with a view to a permanent deal.
Woodman played just once for Cherries after joining on loan from Newcastle United in January.
He featured in the 1-0 FA Cup upset against Boreham Wood at Vitality Stadium – and had to play second fiddle to Mark Travers as the Irishman saw out an impressive campaign.
The report claims Woodman has been “given the green light to find a new club” by Newcastle.
