CHERRIES trio Lloyd Kelly, Dominic Solanke and Philip Billing all feature in this season’s PFA Championship Team of the Year.

The trio each played integral roles in helping Scott Parker’s side return to the Premier League.

Centre-back Kelly played 41 times in the Championship and helped the Dorset club keep the most clean sheets in the division.

Billing featured 40 times in the league and registered 10 goals and 10 assists throughout the campaign.

Top-scorer Solanke netted on 29 occasions, his best scoring season in senior football.

Five players from champions Fulham were recognised by their peers and voted into the divisional team, with striker Aleksandar Mitrovic having scored a record-breaking 43 Championship goals.

Centre-backs Tosin Adarabioyo and Tim Ream were also included along with midfielders Fabio Carvalho and Harry Wilson, who provided a season-high 19 assists.

Huddersfield goalkeeper Lee Nicholls, who returned 19 clean sheets to help his side finish third, also made the team of the year, along with Blackburn’s 22-goal Chile forward Ben Brereton Diaz.

Nottingham Forest defender Djed Spence completed the line-up, having helped Steve Cooper’s side win the Championship play-off final at Wembley to secure promotion back to the top flight for the first time in 23 years.
