CHERRIES are currently the only team rated an odds-on shot to be relegated from the Premier League next season, according to leading bookmakers.
Following the conclusion of the 2021-22 top flight, odds compilers released their early prices for next campaign.
Scott Parker’s side sealed their return to England’s elite level with a second-placed Championship finish earlier this month – but are priced up at 8-11 to go straight back down.
Fulham, the Championship winners, are 6-4 with SkyBet to finish in the bottom three next season. Brentford (5-2), Leeds United (3-1) and Southampton (7-2) are next on the list.
The final spot in the 20-team division is yet to be confirmed with Nottingham Forest and Huddersfield set to do battle in the Championship play-off final.
Cherries are rated a 9-1 chance to finish in the top half next season, while a top-four finish is 66-1.
SkyBet are also offering a whopping price of 1,500-1 for Cherries to win the division outright.
Parker’s side will learn their Premier League fixtures when they are released on June 16. The season itself will start on August 6.
