PIRATES charger Drew Kemp revealed his annoyance, despite playing his part in Great Britain under-23s’ European Championship semi-final win in Pardubice on Saturday

The 19-year-old was ruled out of Poole’s 45-45 draw with Glasgow on Friday, after being called up by the GB setup.

Kemp scored eight points from five rides as Britain scored 46 in total, finishing ahead of Czech Republic, France and Team Europe.

But having suffered a tapes exclusion in his opening heat, as well as a fall in his fifth outing, a post from Kemp’s Twitter account read: “Making it far too hard for myself recently, t/x, 2nd, 1st, 1st and another crash out of my last one.

“Congrats on the other guys pulling it outta the bag for the win!”

Dan Bewley recorded maximum 15-point haul, with Tom Brennan scoring 13 points and Jordan Palin 10.

Team GB will now line-up in the final at Krakow in October.
