PLAYMAKER Ryan Christie is hoping his big-game experience can help him when stepping into the Premier League with Cherries.

Signed on transfer deadline day from Celtic last summer, Christie played a key role in helping the Dorset club seal promotion to the top flight.

He featured 38 times in the Championship, as Scott Parker’s men went on to seal a second-placed finish in the division.

And having featured in European competitions with Celtic previously, as well as at a European Championship finals with Scotland, Christie is relishing the chance to step up to England’s elite level.

Asked whether he felt his big-game experience could help him in the Premier League, the Inverness-born star said: “Hopefully, yeah. I have been lucky enough to play in big stadiums with big attendances. It’s all just stuff you look forward to.

“You look forward to playing these games. These games you dream of playing in, since you were a kid.”

The Premier League fixtures for next season are set to be announced on June 16.
