OUR Daily Echo Perfect Promotion XI continues into the second round of voting – with a triple header at right-back.

Over the next few weeks, we will be pitting other members of each Premier League promotion-achieving side against each other, giving Daily Echo readers the opportunity to select the members of their ‘Perfect Promotion XI’.

After the vote for who should don the gloves in your fantasy team, it is time to hand out the number two shirt.

Thanks to our qualifying criteria, there are three names to choose from.

In order to qualify for selection, players will have had to have played 1500 minutes of league action to be eligible for selection in a poll.

From Eddie Howe’s 2015 Championship winning side there is only one man – Simon Francis.

‘Franno’, as the former Cherries defender is known as amongst fans, missed just four league games during the campaign, amassing 3769 minutes of action.

A bona fide Cherries legend, Francis amassed 324 appearances in red and black between 2011 and 2020.

For the 2022 side, there are two options. Whilst Adam Smith was at the club during promotion in 2015, he did not reach the required 1500 minute mark.

However, both he and Jack Stacey qualify for their exploits last campaign.

Smith made 19 appearances under Scott Parker, whilst Jack Stacey played 25 games as Cherries secured second place – and a return to the Premier League.

Alongside Francis, Smith is another right-back to have made over 300 appearances for Cherries, whilst Stacey has been no slouch since arriving from Luton Town in 2019.

Voting will last for two days, allowing as many Daily Echo readers to vote as possible.
