EAST Christchurch Sports and Social Club romped to victory over Hawley in the John Ward Sunday Challenge Cup.
After finishing the league season in second place behind runaway winners Abbey FC, the Oranges finished the campaign with cup silverware.
Goals from Daniel Hancock and Alex Hancox sandwiched Elliot Hartnell-Baker’s scrappy finishing, giving East Christchurch a 3-0 lead at the break.
Despite their large lead, East Christchurch had to withstand significant pressure from Hawley in the second-half.
The Oranges sealed the result when Alex Whitehouse rounded off a counter attack to make it 4-0.
