PROMOTION HERO Kieffer Moore has been named in Wales’ squad for the crunch World Cup play-off final in June.

Joining him will be fellow Cherry Chris Mepham, with the pair named in Cymru’s 27-man squad for their summer schedule.

Former loanee Harry Wilson, has also been named, whilst rumoured Cherries targets Joe Allen and Rabbi Matondo have been included in the squad for fixtures against Poland, the Netherlands and Belgium.

Whilst all attention will be on Wales’ must-win tie to secure a place in their first World Cup since 1958, they have four other fixtures over the summer.

They face Poland prior to the play-off final, before hosting the Netherlands and Belgium in the six days following.

Completing the condensed schedule is a trip to the Netherlands at the end of the month.

Moore and Mepham could potentially face Cherries teammate Ryan Christie in the play-off final, with the winger’s country, Scotland, still to play their semi-final with Ukraine.

Although the Scots are yet to name their squad for their summer fixtures, Ryan Christie has joined up with the national team early, in a bid for further preparation.

No matter what, Wales will host the play-off final at the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday, June 5.
