POOLE Pirates' scheduled first meeting of the 2022 Championship season has been postponed.
Neil Middleditch's men were set to head to Perry Barr Stadium to face Birmingham Brummies this evening.
However, following wet weather in the Midlands, the meeting has been postponed.
A statement from the Brummies read: "We are devastated to pull the plug on tonightβs meeting with Poole.
"The last heavy downpour has left us with no alternative.
"This is a major blow to the club as it would have been a plum date.
"Hopefully our luck will change soon."

Pirates, who kicked off their season with two-legged victory in the Knockout Cup quarter-finals against Plymouth Gladiators last week, will not have to wait long to get their league quest underway.
Reigning champions Poole welcome Oxford Cheetahs to Wimborne Road on Good Friday (7.30pm).
