SCOTT Parker praised his players for their bravery on the ball in the thumping 3-0 win at Huddersfield Town.

Goals from Jaidon Anthony, Jefferson Lerma and Dominic Solanke killed the game as a contest with more than 40 minutes still to play.

The victory at John Smith's Stadium sees Cherries sit pretty in second place in the Championship, six points clear of their nearest challengers Luton Town and Huddersfield, still with games in hand on both.

Reflecting on the way the team executed the game plan to beat the Terriers, Parker told the Daily Echo: "Yeah, it was pleasing. I thought the whole game plan, really.

"We executed very well, very well. I thought we were brave. We have to be.

"I asked my players to be very brave and you've got to have courage at times.

"You've got to receive the ball in difficult positions, the angles you make and the confidence you have to bring. That brings a lot of courage like I said.

"I thought all round, wide areas, switch of play, where to put the ball at the right time, when we had overloads, we were superb, but picked it well.

"We often stick with the same way. Of course, we fix things or we move things positionally a little bit in terms of different personnel.

"But this team have done an incredible amount of work in terms of the detail and understanding, and they understand that.

"So we change a little bit, but certainly we want to keep driving having along with what exactly what we're doing."

Cherries are not in action again until Bristol City visit Vitality Stadium on April 2 for the first of 10 games in the final five weeks of the season.
