SCOTT Parker heaped praise on Jaidon Anthony following his impressive display against Derby County, describing him as "a player that goes under the radar massively".

Anthony's majestic double nutmeg on two Derby defenders led to Cherries breaking the deadlock just before half-time, with that run leading to the ball popping up for Dominic Solanke to volley home.

Jamal Lowe sealed the 2-0 victory in the dying minutes.

Anthony, who returned to the starting XI for the clash with the Rams, has featured in 33 of Cherries' 34 Championship matches this season, in his breakthrough campaign as a regular for the club.

Only Dominic Solanke (22) and Philip Billing (9) have scored more than Anthony's seven for Cherries this season.

Discussing the 22-year-old's brilliant piece of skill which led to Solanke's opener, Parker told the Daily Echo: "No, I’ve not seen it back, but Jaidon Anthony is a player that goes under the radar massively to be quite honest with you.

"What he does for this team is nothing short of incredible at times really.

"Because in possession I think we see his quality, his calmness, his silkiness, when he makes good decisions at times.

"But the stuff that goes unnoticed is probably the defensive side, what he brings to this team and what he brings to it really.

"I thought he epitomised everything we were about (on Saturday).

"If there was one player you wanted to look at in terms of that, it’s probably a bit harsh on all of them really, but Jaidon was superb.

"I was very pleased with him."
