JOSH Carmichael’s two goals in as many minutes were not enough to gain Poole Town anything from a 3-2 defeat at Hendon.
The former Cherries youngster produced a double-salvo early in the second half at Silver Jubilee Park, cancelling out earlier goals from Joe White and Liam Brooks to level at 2-2.
But Hendon found a winner through White with just 12 minutes remaining – sending Tom Killick’s side to their ninth league defeat of the campaign.
Poole have picked up 42 points from 27 league contests this season and are now six points off a play-off place in the division.
Killick’s men make the trip to Hartley Wintney on Tuesday (7.45pm).
