BOSS Scott Parker insisted his full focus was on Cherries and was “not too fussed” what former club Fulham were doing at the Championship summit.
Parker left Craven Cottage to join Cherries at the end of June and has seen both sides switch positions at the top of the league this season.
Marco Silva’s men have dazzled in recent weeks, scoring 19 goals in three games to build a five-point lead on the Dorset club, who sit second.
Asked ahead of tomorrow’s home clash with Hull City whether he felt Cherries could still catch his old club, Parker replied: “That’s the challenge.
“I think at the start of the season there was a gap which was just as big. We’ve had a gap before which has been reduced.
“Listen, this is this season, this is what’s going to happen.
“I never look at it like that, to be honest. I just don’t.
“I am not too fussed what Fulham are doing in that sense. They are five points clear and deserved of that, they are playing very well.
“I am more focused on us, what we need to do.
“We need to win games consistently, perform consistently well and if we do that, I know we will also be in a position where we’re as fine as well. That’s the main drive and focus.”
