CHERRIES saw their grasp at the top of the Championship table slip away as they went down 3-2 in the lunchtime kick-off at Luton.

With just seconds remaining in stoppage time, Kal Naismith curled in from 20 yards to blow the roof off Kenilworth Road and seal a tremendous victory for the Hatters.

That, coupled with Fulham’s 6-2 win over Bristol City later in the day, means Scott Parker’s side have been knocked off top spot in the division.

They have also played a game more than Marco Silva’s men.
