Cherries fans take to social media to bid 'legend' Steve Cook farewell

It is seems extremely rare we see a footballer stay at a club for a decade - with Cook just reaching the impressive landmark, with January 3 marking the 10th anniversary of his move from Brighton in January 2011.

Initially signing on loan in October, Cherries parted with £150,000 to bring the defender across the south coast, with the fee arguably the best bit of business the club has ever done.

On the 3/12 Steve Cook was likely to know that his #AFCB career was coming to an end but he put on that Red & Black shirt with pride as he always has & threw his body in front of a close range shot twice.
