BLACKBURN Rovers are hoping to have three key players back available for Saturday's trip to Cherries.

Tony Mowbray's Rovers are in fine form, shooting up to fourth in the Championship table following a run of three wins in succession.

Daniel Ayala, Sam Gallagher and goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski all missed Saturday's 1-0 win over Lancashire rivals Preston North End.

Ayala has been struggling with an ankle problem, while Kaminski was withdrawn during a game at Stoke last month due to a stomach muscle strain.

Striker Gallagher has been out of action for the past five games due to a calf injury, but has now returned to training.

As reported by the Lancashire Telegraph, Mowbray said of first-choice stopper Kaminski: “He’s pretty positive in his mindset and that he’ll be ready for next week which is a positive for us.

"The scans have a strain to the stomach muscles, rather than a tear, so he’ll build it up bit by bit.

“He’ll see how much pain he has and then of course if we decide to play him and he’s not 100 per cent repaired then a strain could become a tear and those are the decisions you have to make.

“We’ll assess him through the week and see how he gets on.”

Aynsley Pears has filled in in Kaminski's absence and is yet to concede a goal since his return to the side.
