SCOTT Parker admits he does not expect Lloyd Kelly or Jordan Zemura to be fit in time to face Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

The left-footed duo missed Friday night's pulsating 1-1 draw at leaders Fulham due to injury.

Having played a key role during the opening months of the campaign, a quad problem for Kelly and ankle issue for Zemura has seen both out of action in recent weeks.

Cherries have had a long list of injuries, but did welcome back Adam Smith, Gary Cahill, Ben Pearson and Robbie Brady to their squad for the trip to Craven Cottage.

Asked if Kelly or Zemura could be back to face Rovers at Vitality Stadium at the weekend, Parker said: "Doubt it. They are back on the training field, they are doing work.

"They’re progressing really well, Junior Stanislas as well.

"We need them back. That’s just it. We’re stretched at the moment and we’re going through a little bit of a windy point.

"I’m immensely proud because we’re picking up points and we’re doing very well, but we need them back."

He added: "There’s players back at the training facilities. The boys that were out there (on Friday) – Adam Smith, Cahill, Ben Pearson coming on, they need time and they need some work now, coming back up to speed.

"I’m hoping we can do that in the next 10 days, two weeks and then get back to a full-strength squad."
