CHERRIES youngster Ryan Glover has joined Aldershot Town on loan.

The midfielder was part of Scott Parker's squad during pre-season and was regularly part of the matchday squad during the early weeks of this campaign.

Having been an unused substitute on three occasions, Glover made his senior competitive Cherries debut when he came off the bench during the second half against Norwich City in the Carabao Cup in August.

However, the 20-year-old was powerless to prevent a 6-0 thrashing.

With senior players now fit again and new signings arriving in his position, Glover has not featured since and has now moved to the National League to gain more match minutes.

He links up with a familiar face in former Cherries coach Mark Molesley, who worked with Glover in the under-21s set-up before exiting to manage Southend United.

After leaving the Shrimpers, Molesley was last month appointed new boss of the struggling Shots.

Glover, who previously spent time out on loan at Weymouth and Hemel Hempstead, could make his debut for Aldershot against Bromley on Saturday (3pm).
