ROBBIE Brady recalled an unfortunate collision with former teammate Gary O'Neil during his time at Norwich, explaining: "He smashed all my teeth out!"
The pair were playing alongside each other for Norwich City during a Premier League clash against Chelsea at Carrow Road in March 2016.
Both went up to head a ball, contesting with Blues' winger Willian, but collided mid-air. The sickening incident saw Brady lose two teeth, while O'Neil's forehead was left bloodied due to a deep gash.
Brady and O'Neil are set to link up again now at Cherries, after the former signed as a free agent, while O'Neil is working at the club as senior first-team coach.
Asked if he spoke with O'Neil before making the move to Cherries, Brady told afcbTV: "I haven’t spoken to Gaz actually since he smashed all my teeth out!"
Recalling the incident, Brady explained: "It was just Gaz running around a bit headless, went for a ball that wasn’t his!
"It was just a misunderstanding. Two of us went for the same ball and I headed the ball and headed my face.
"It wasn’t pretty, but you get on with it."
