JUNIOR Stanislas could make his return from injury for Saturday's trip to Bristol City.

The midfielder has been out of action since August due to a hamstring problem suffered early on in the 2-2 draw with Blackpool at Vitality Stadium.

But boss Scott Parker confirmed the 31-year-old could make his return for the Championship clash at Ashton Gate (3pm).

"Junior’s come through training the last three or four weeks, three weeks probably," Parker told the Daily Echo.

"Built up some real good training in him. He’ll be with us, or I suspect he’ll be available for the weekend.

"I’ll make a decision on whether he’s going to be a part of it or around it on the weekend."

Parker also confirmed Saturday would come too soon for Lewis Cook, who made his return to action for the under-23s in the Premier League Cup against Arsenal last week.

There will be late calls on some of Cherries' international stars, including Jefferson Lerma who is yet to return from Colombia duty, due in action against Ecuador tonight before travelling back to the UK.
