BOURNEMOUTH cruiserweight sensation Chris Billam-Smith will put his European title on the line on a Matchroom Boxing show in Sheffield next month.

The Shane McGuigan-trained star is set to feature on the undercard for the event in the Steel City on November 13, with an opponent yet to be named.

Billam-Smith captured the British and European belts when he overcame Belfast’s Tommy McCarthy on a split decision victory at Fight Camp back in July.

Those titles went with the Commonwealth crown he won against Craig Glover almost two years ago.

And now the former Poole ABC star is set to be part of a bill which also features the likes of Kid Galahad and Terri Harper, as part of two world title fights on the night.

Billam-Smith’s professional record stands at 13 victories and just one defeat – with 10 of his wins coming inside the scheduled distance.

The 31-year-old has secured victories in his past four fights since his only professional loss to Richard Riakporhe in London, back in July 2019.
