POOLE Pirates will face Leicester Lions in the SGB Championship semi-finals.

Pirates, who topped the regular season table to seal a semi-final berth, will welcome Stewart Dickson's men to Wimborne Road tonight.

Leicester secured their spot in the last four by completing their quarter-final victory over Scunthorpe Scorpions last night.

Lions triumphed 38-28 in a shortened second leg at Beaumont Park due to track conditions and rain, progressing 92-64 on aggregate.

They now face a quick turnaround for tonight's semi-final first leg at Poole Stadium (7.30pm), before the pair do battle in the second leg in the Midlands on Saturday.

Tonight will be Poole's first meeting since defeating Leicester in the Knockout Cup semi-finals on September 29.

Zach Cook guested for Neil Middleditch's men that night, scoring 8+3, and he again will line-up for Pirates this evening in the continued absence of the injured Stefan Nielsen.

The rest of the personnel remains the same for the hosts, although there has been a reshuffle due to October rider averages now kicking in.

Steve Worrall takes the number one jersey from Rory Schlein, while Danyon Hume moves up into the main body of the team, replaced by Benjamin Basso at reserve.

For Leicester, they are without the injured Hans Andersen, with Chris Harris set to guest.

Pirates: Steve Worrall, Danyon Hume, Rory Schlein, Ben Cook, Danny King, Zach Cook (guest), Benjamin Basso.

Leicester: Nick Morris, Ryan Douglas, Dan Thompson, Kyle Howarth, Chris Harris (guest), Joe Thompson, Zaine Kennedy.
