WIMBORNE Town have been handed a tricky FA Cup third qualifying round tie, facing Hampton & Richmond Borough in London.

Magpies booked their spot at this stage by coming from behind to defeat Basingstoke Town 4-3 at the weekend, with Lewis Beale netting a late winner.

But James Stokoe's men face a tough task if they are to progress further after being paired with Hampton.

Gary McCann's Beavers compete in National League South, a level above Wimborne.

Hampton & Richmond currently sit eighth in the division, and eased past Walton Casuals 3-0 at the weekend to book their spot in the next round of the FA Cup.

Meanwhile, Poole Town face another home draw, if they can win a replay against Chippenham Town.

Dolphins drew 1-1 with Mike Cook's Bluebirds at Black Gold Stadium on Saturday, with the two sides set to meet again in Wiltshire tomorrow evening.

The winners would then host Isthmian South East outfit Hastings United in the third qualifying round.

Lymington Town also featured in today's draw. If they can overcome Hereford in a replay tomorrow having drawn 2-2 at the weekend, Lymo would head to Merstham in the next round.

Winners of third qualifying round ties win £5,625 in prize money, with the losing club taking £1,875.

Ties are due to take place on Saturday, October 2.
