LEWIS Beale struck a late winner as Wimborne Town battled back to win 4-3 at Basingstoke and book their spot in the next round of the FA Cup.

Trailing 2-0 inside half an hour following goals from McKoy Palmer and Conor Lynch, Wimborne responded to level the tie by half-time.

Connal Morrison made it 2-1, before Curtis Young equalised.

The drama continued after the restart with Palmer restoring the hosts' lead, only for Harry Morgan to make it 3-3 with 15 minutes to go.

And with a replay at New Cuthbury beckoning, Wimborne struck again at the death through in-form Beale.

James Stokoe's men go into the hat for Monday's third qualifying round draw.

They will be joined there by Lymington Town, who held higher-league Hereford to a 2-2 draw.

Lymo took the lead in just the fifth minute through Owen Fee, but two goals in two minutes put the visitors ahead.

Myles Storey equalised, before straight from kick-off Hereford nicked the ball and broke forwards again with Storey teeing up Tom Owen-Evans to net.

But Lymington responded in the second half to earn a 2-2 draw, with Harry McGrath on target.

However, Hamworthy United's cup run is over.

Tim Sills's Hammers took a shock lead at Cirencester Town through Matty Neale, but the home side hit back with Josh Parsons quickly equalising.

Cirencester went on to win 3-1 with Joe Shepherd and Levi Irving on target.
