POOLE Pirates captain Danny King continued his recent blistering form with victory at the Plymouth anniversary meeting.
Celebrating 90 years of Plymouth speedway, a host of top riders were invited to compete at the Coliseum.
That included King, as well as the likes of legendary trio Chris Harris, Bjarne Pedersen and Jason Crump.
The 12-man field also included Zane Keleher, Zach Cook, Dillon Ruml, Alfie Bowtell, Henry Atkins, Eric Riss, Ben Barker and Poole-born Kyle Newman.
King claimed the overall victory, qualifying for the final after scoring nine points from his four rides, more than anybody else.
Pedersen finished in second in the final race, ahead of Barker and Harris.
Discussing his victory, King said: "I had no hesitation in accepting the booking to come down here.
"I’ve ridden here a few times now this season and it’s a track I enjoy riding and it always produces great racing."
