CHERRIES have confirmed the capture of exciting forward Jamal Lowe, who chief executive Neill Blake insists has “his best days ahead of him.”
The 27-year-old has excelled at both Portsmouth and Swansea, helping the Welsh outfit finish in the top-six during last season’s Championship campaign.
Starting at Barnet, Lowe has had a steady rise up through the leagues before marking his international debut with a goal for Jamaica – and will now want to go one step further and reach the Premier League with Cherries.
He commits the next three years of his football to Cherries.
Speaking to the club website, Blake said: “Jamal has continued to make excellent progress since joining Portsmouth five years ago.
“He has gained valuable experience as he has moved through the leagues, culminating in helping Swansea reach the Championship play-offs last season.
“At 27, we believe his best days are ahead of him and are delighted to have brought him to AFC Bournemouth.”
With the international break to come now, deadline day acquisition Lowe could make his Cherries bow when Scott Parker’s side welcome Barnsley to Vitality Stadium on Saturday 11 September.
