SCOTT Parker remains hopeful of adding to his Cherries squad ahead of tomorrow's 11pm deadline.

Clubs in England have until Tuesday evening to complete business both in and out of the club, before the transfer window shuts again until January.

It has been a busy summer so far for Cherries.

Before Parker replaced Jonathan Woodgate as boss, the squad had already been depleted with the exits of loanees Rodrigo Riquelme, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Shane Long, while Jack Wilshere also left the club following the expiration of his contract.

Since Parker's arrival at the end of June, a further four first-teamers have departed. Asmir Begovic moved to Everton, Diego Rico joined Real Sociedad and Sam Surridge made the switch to Stoke. That was before the highest profile exit so far, with Arnaut Danjuma leaving on a £21million deal to join Villarreal.

Five players have come through the door in free agents Emiliano Marcondes, Orjan Nyland and Gary Cahill, while Morgan Rogers and Leif Davis have arrived on loan deals.

Asked if he hopes for any more possible arrivals before Tuesday night, boss Parker told BBC Radio Solent: "We’re working hard. We’re trying to get some faces in.

"Hopefully we can do that. But at the same time, you never know in this current climate.

"So I’m looking forward to it shutting with maybe a couple in, we’ll see."

Cherries' squad has been packed with young academy graduates since the season started.

But as some experienced players return from injury, there could be an opportunity for them to also now head elsewhere.

"Maybe there might be some loan options," said Parker.

"Some boys that maybe want to play some football which they might not get with the squad getting a bit fuller.

"So there could be some options for people to go on loan."
