CHERRIES midfielder Philip Billing declares his future lies with Scott Parker’s south-coast side and insists: "Everything else is just noise.”

The Dane has been influential in Cherries’ opening fixtures with goals against MK Dons in the League Cup and in the Championship draw with West Brom.

Operating in a number eight position, Billing has been marauding forward alongside midfield partner Emiliano Marcondes and proving a highly useful asset.

He insists that any suggestion of him moving to another club is merely “noise”, having been linked with Norwich this summer, and wants to focus on an immediate future with Cherries.

Speaking to BBC Radio Solent, Billing said: “Under Scott Parker, I would love to stay here.

“I feel like the next step I need to take with his experience and his mentality, just on the training pitch, I feel like it affects me and right now this is the right place for me to be, especially with the new gaffer."

On potential rumours of his exit, the 25-year-old former Huddersfield player added: “Whatever, I don’t really listen to or see what’s going on, I just focus on here.

“There’s a big season for the team, the club and for myself as well so, everything else is just noise.”
