A REPORT from United States media outlet Bloomberg claims Cherries owner Maxim Demin is “exploring options” for the club, including a potential sale.
Bloomberg News claim they have seen a document in which “management reached out to a select group of potential investors and buyers in the spring to provide information on the club and its finances”.
The report does however go on to claim “deliberations are ongoing, and there’s no certainty they’ll lead to a transaction.”
Cherries are owned by Russian businessman Demin.
Demin's AFCB Enterprises Ltd secured 100 per cent ownership of the club in 2019, having initially purchased a 50 per cent share in 2011.
When contacted by the Daily Echo regarding the above report, the club declined to comment.
