WINGER Junior Stanislas has put pen to paper and secured his future as a Cherries player with a new two-year deal, after making 35 Championship appearances last season.
He netted on ten occasions, including many from the penalty spot, and his new contract bolsters the squad following the expiry of his last deal – leaving Cherries’ fans pleased by the announcement, but clearly wary of why negotiations took so long.
The 31-year-old technical winger Stanislas first joined the club way back in 2014, in the Premier League, making 166 appearances and scoring on 36 occasions in that time.
He joins defensive stalwart Adam Smith as the latest to re-sign under new head coach Scott Parker, and similarly adds experience to what is an otherwise youthful squad.
