CHERRIES have announced they will take on European champions Chelsea in front of a full-capacity crowd at Vitality Stadium in a pre-season friendly.
The contest will take place on Tuesday, July 27 (7.45pm) after Scott Parker’s side return from their pre-season training camp in Marbella.
The Blues were the most recent side to visit Vitality Stadium with a full crowd in attendance back in February 2020, before the coronavirus pandemic restrictions were introduced.
Then managed by Eddie Howe, Cherries recorded a 2-2 Premier League draw against the London club thanks to goals from Jefferson Lerma and Joshua King.
Marcos Alonso’s double gave the Blues a share of the spoils.
This time round, tickets are set to go on sale today at 10am to season ticket holders and 1+ Home, Away and Cup points holders.
