BOSS Jonathan Woodgate revealed Cherries would make a late call on the fitness of Junior Stanislas ahead of tomorrow’s home clash with Coventry City (3pm).

The winger missed Easter Monday’s 2-0 victory over Blackburn last time out, having been withdrawn after an hour of the 3-1 Good Friday win over Middlesbrough.

And Woodgate revealed the club would assess the 31-year-old ahead of the contest with the Sky Blues.

He said: “He hasn’t been well. He’s been working with the physios, so we will see what he is like for the game.

“It might come too soon for him, I’m not too sure.

“Junior is one of those types of players who wants to play constantly. He’s like that, so we will see how he is.”

Stanislas has played 31 times in all competitions for Cherries this season, scoring 11 goals.

Woodgate did however confirm David Brooks came through 70 minutes against Rovers unscathed, having missed eight league games with an ankle problem.

“Pleased to have Brooksy. He’s a top player,” said the head coach. “He is up for selection.”
