CHERRIES are set to welcome back a host of first-team players for tomorrow's visit of Middlesbrough.

Jonathan Woodgate was without seven senior members of his squad for the FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Southampton last time out.

But since then, Cherries have used the international break to get some players back fit including David Brooks, Adam Smith, Junior Stanislas and Philip Billing.

Asked for an update on his squad's availability, Woodgate said: "Everyone is back fit, apart from Lewis Cook, who as we know has got a long-term injury. Brooks back, Smith back, Billing back, Lloyd Kelly back so we’ve got a full team to pick from, apart from Lewis."

Woodgate is also hopeful the players who have been away on international duty this week, including Shane Long, Chris Mepham and Mark Travers will be available, with Middlesbrough set to travel south without Northern Ireland duo George Saville and Paddy McNair, meeting them en route.

"It’s not ideal at all," he said when asked about the quick turnaround ahead of tomorrow's game.

"We’ve had the same Lloyd Kelly with the (England) under-21s. I’m not sure Lloyd’s back in the country yet so we’ve got that same problem.

"But we have to get on with it. We’ve got squads to do that and every player who is picked for me I’m sure will do a big job.

"I’ve seen Longy, he’s fine. Travs is okay. I’ve spoken to Meps, he’s perfect. I haven’t seen Lloydy yet, I’m not sure if Lloydy is back in the country yet. But apart from that, all good."

Brooks has not featured since February 17 due to an ankle problem, but Woodgate says the Wales international is now ready to make his return.

"Brooksy will be there or thereabouts," said the Cherries boss.

"He’s trained well the last week and this week, looked really, really sharp.

"He floats past players and sometimes you don’t understand how he’s doing it.

"He doesn’t look like he’s running the quickest but he just glides past them. He’s got that ability.

"So Brooksy is looking good. We play Friday and Monday, so there’s a lot of games coming up."
