CHERRIES have a "sustained interest" in Peterborough United striker Jonson Clarke-Harris, according to Bristol Live.
The forward joined Posh from Bristol Rovers last year and has been in scintillating form for his new club.
The 26-year-old has netted 23 goals in 35 appearances across all competitions for the League One table-toppers.
And that form has attracted interest from the likes of Cherries and Premier League strugglers West Brom, reports Bristol Live.
They claim Clarke-Harris, who joined Rovers on a free transfer from Coventry in 2019, was sold on to Peterborough for £1.25million last summer, with various clauses such as a sell-on included in the deal.
The report goes on to say Cherries have been "scouting" Clarke-Harris and "have an interest" in buying him in the summer with Jonathan Woodgate said to be "a fan" of the player.
The Leicester-born frontman has also featured for the likes of Oldham Athletic and Bury earlier in his career, as well as a four-year stint at Rotherham United.
