ARSENAL are keen to snap up Cherries starlet Ajani Burchall, according to a report in The Sun.

The tabloid claims the 16-year-old, who became the third youngest player in Cherries' history when featuring against Huddersfield Town in December, is set to leave the south coast at the end of the season after rejecting a "scholarship deal" with the club.

The report says Arsenal now "head the queue" amid "interest from several Premier League clubs" to sign the talented Bermudian winger.

Burchall is still at school, attending Bournemouth Collegiate, and only met the Cherries first team on the morning of his debut against Huddersfield at Vitality Stadium.

The teenager was also an unused substitute for the Championship draw at Luton Town the following week.

He has played most of his Cherries football for the club's under-18s.
