MANAGER Jason Tindall revealed Joshua King told him his future would be with Cherries until the end of the season.

The Norwegian forward has been heavily linked with a move away from the club, with Cherries turning down bids from the likes of West Ham, Torino and Manchester United over the past 12 months.

King started in Cherries’ 3-1 defeat to Reading in the Championship this evening.

Asked post-match whether he expected King to be a Cherries player at the end of the window, Tindall told Sky Sports: “Yeah, he said that to me today – that he’s staying here to the end of the season.

“So that’s great news for us.

“I am sure Josh will be looking to do extremely well from now until the end of the season.”

King is yet to find the net in 12 Championship appearances for Cherries this campaign. He has however scored three times in the FA Cup.

The frontman's contract with Cherries expires in the summer.
