MANAGER Jason Tindall vowed to turn around Cherries’ fortunes after a recent blip in form saw them slip down the Championship promotion race.

A 1-0 defeat to Derby last night saw the Dorset club fall behind victorious Watford and Reading – having now picked one point from a possible nine.

A draw with Millwall followed up with a losses against Luton and the Rams left Cherries four points off the top two in the division, they have also now played more games than second-placed Swansea.

“I am confident we will turn it around. It’s been a disappointing week to say the least,” said Tindall.

“Millwall we got a point but I felt we probably deserved more. Luton, we know what happened, I certainly didn’t think we deserved to lose that game.

“On Tuesday, I think on chances I don’t think we probably deserved to lose the game. Derby took their chance from a set-play and we didn’t take the two chances we had.

“We certainly need to bounce back quickly and we will be looking to do that.”

Asked how he would deal with his critics after the poor trio of results, the boss replied: “By winning games. I think that’s the only way you respond to any criticism.

“We just need to make sure we bounce back and we bounce back quickly. Am I confident we will do it? Most definitely.

“That’s the only way you will respond and answer any questions asked of you.”

The Dorset club have also drawn a blank in their past two games – with only four goals coming from their past seven league fixtures.

“It’s just one of those things we are going through at the minute. A little bit like Liverpool I suppose,” added Tindall.

“Two teams that you would probably say that will always score goals – but two teams that are struggling to score goals at the minute.

“I still believe that we will score goals. We just need to make sure that we put this behind us as quickly as we can and get back on to a winning run again. I’m sure that the goals will come.

“We need to ask more questions, certainly of the goalkeeper.

“I believe we will do. I believe we are getting players back now that have been out for a while. It was good that (Arnaut) Danjuma completed 60 minutes.

“Jack Stacey has completed more minutes, Chris Mepham came on at half-time. Jack Wilshere has got some minutes under his belt.

“Now these guys are getting up to speed, they will certainly help us.”
