MANAGER Jason Tindall admitted it had been “frustrating” concede from a pivotal set-piece at Derby and admitted: “We need to be better in those type of situations.”

The Cherries boss was speaking after his team suffered a lacklustre 1-0 defeat to the struggling Rams at Pride Park.

Krystian Bielik bundled in what proved to be the winner for Wayne Rooney’s side after he tussled with Lloyd Kelly to meet the ball from a corner.

Assessing the contest, Tindall told the Daily Echo: “I felt we certainly weren’t at our best in the first half. Derby were the better side in the first half.

“Although we had a big moment with Dom’s chance after two minutes – unfortunately we didn’t take that one.

“Unfortunately, we conceded a goal from a set-play which was disappointing for us.

“But Derby were the better side in the first half, hence why I felt I needed to make changes at half-time and I felt in the second half we were by far the better side.

“We had a lot of the ball, huffed and puffed but were unable to break them down.”

Defeat left Cherries with just one point from their past three league games.

“It’s disappointing that we have conceded a goal from a set play. It’s more frustrating because I feel we need to be better in those type of situations,” the boss added.

“We need to be better when we have our own set-plays. We had the chance with Lloyd Kelly (in the second half) – the keeper has pulled off a good save.

“But I felt we huffed and puffed in the second half, had a lot of ball but was unable to break them down.”
