JASON Tindall insists Junior Stanislas's injury setback will not impact Cherries' January transfer plans.

Stanislas is set to be out of action for a least a month after suffering ankle ligament damage in Tuesday night's draw against Millwall.

The 31-year-old has been a key figure for Cherries this season, starting 16 of the club's 23 Championship fixtures, scoring seven goals.

Asked if the injury to Stanislas will change the club's transfer strategy this month, with the window set to close in little over two weeks, Tindall told the Daily Echo: "Not necessarily. Not when you think we’ve been without some really good players, players that have been so influential in the early part of our season – Chris Mepham, Jack Stacey, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Arnie Danjuma.

"You look at those players we’ve got coming back now, it’s certainly going to help us.

"Unfortunate that we lose Junior, but gaining those bodies back almost at the same time as Junior’s out does almost make things a little bit easier, so not really, no."

Tindall is yet to make a permanent signing as Cherries boss.

His only two additions have been the arrivals of Rodrigo Riquelme and Cameron Carter-Vickers on loan.
